Windows 10 について少しだけ。

次期WindowsであるWindows 10
Windows7や8から無償アップデートできるとかで、結構話題になっていたと思います。 今回は以下のブログなんかの情報と併せて、軽くまとめてみる。

シングル プラットフォーム

Windows 10はPC、タブレット、携帯電話などの様々なデバイス上で動作するようです。

最近はユニバーサルアプリということで、複数のプラットフォームで動作するアプリ開発があるようですが、Windowsアプリについてはユニバーサルアプリの開発がよりすすむのかな？

無料アップデート

Windows 10はリリースから意年間、Windows 7、Windows 8、Windows Phone 8.1デバイスなど該当するデバイスに対し Windows Update 経由で無償アップグレードが提供されます。

ただし、当然ですがハードウェアなどのスペックによってはアップグレードができなかったり、機能が使えない場合があります。
それ以外に、Windows 7 EnterprisやWindows 8/8.1 Enterprise、Windows RT/RT8.1は対象外だったりしますので、もしかするとがっかりな人が出てくるかも。

OSのサービス化

Windows 10 はサポート期間中は常に新しいOSにアップグレードでき。（iPhoneみたいな感じですね）
さらにWindows Updateを通じて必要なサービスを選択することができるので、企業さんなんかは拡張機能なんかは利用しないことも選択できるようです。

機能面でもいろいろあるみたいですが、例のごとく風邪でしんどいので今日はここまで。
